Taco Tuesday

It's Taco Tuesday! Here's our favorite way to make Tacos. We actually had these for lunch today. We look forward to lunch everytime we make these. They are so easy to make and great if you have anyone that has any food sensitivities. This is a perfect way to keep the WHOLE family happy. 

The great thing about these shells is they stay pliable so you can bend them. They add a lot of flavor to the taco. Who doesn't love cheese?! Sometimes we mix cheddar and swiss. Can't do sour cream? Add yogurt or guacamole! But with these tacos...it's all about the shell!


1 c

shredded cheddar cheese

4 c

Mixed Greens

1⁄2 lb

Ground Bison

small tomatoes

1⁄4 c

Lactose Free Sour Cream

4 T

Algae Oil



1 T

Chili Powder


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. shells.jpg
  2. Lay out parchment paper over baking sheet. 
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese in a circle the size of small tortilla. 
  4. Bake tortilla until edges are looking crispy. 
  5. Remove from oven and let cool. 
  6. While shells are in the oven, cook bison on the stovetop. 
  7. Add chili powder. 
  8. Once shells have cooled, top with lettuce, tomato, avocado, bison and sour cream.
  9. Drizzle algae oil over top
